美籍出家弟子恒具、恒由兩行者，為祈世界和平，
由三藩市三步一拜至西雅圖，
創美國佛教史第一次三步一拜的先例。
To pray for world peace, his American monastic disciples,
Heng Ju and Heng Yo, began a three steps and one bow pilgrimage
from San Francisco to Seattle. This was the first "three steps one bow"
pilgrimage in the history of Buddhism in America.

接受善信捐獻西雅圖的菩提達摩中心。
The Venerable Master accepted the donation of
Bodhidharma Center in Seattle.
 
1974

十一月至次年一月，
率領弟子應邀前往臺、港、印度、新、馬、越等地弘法。
From November 20, l974 through January 12, l975, upon invitation,
the Venerable Master led a delegation to propagate the Dharma
in Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Vietnam, and other places.

成立育良小學及法界教大學。
The Venerable Master founded
the Instilling Goodness Elementary School and
 the Dharma Realm Buddhist University.

購置北加州萬佛聖城。
The Venerable Master purchased the site for
the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas in northern California.
