上人與岑學呂居士、譚果式居士。岑居士收集虛老的事蹟，撰寫了《虛雲老和尚年譜》。譚果式居士與她的姐姐譚果正居士，一九五九年在美幫助上人成立中美佛教總會。

The Master with Upasaka Chen Xuel_, who wrote a year-by-year record of Venerable Master Hsu Yun’s life and his biography, and Upasika Tan Guoshi, who with her sister Tan Guozheng, helped the Master establish the Sino-American Buddhist Association in the United States in l959.
