我們成佛是成自己的佛，並不是外邊的佛。

When we realize Buddhahood, we are realizing the Buddhahood of our own nature, not some Buddhahood from outside.

你們皈依之後，要記得這個四宏誓願，這是要緊的，這是成佛的一條光明道路。

After taking refuge, all of you should remember that the Four All-Encompassing Vows are the bright path to Buddhahood.

「眾生無邊誓願度」，常常要問自己，我度了沒度？

"Living beings are boundless, I vow to save them all." Always ask yourself, "Have I saved them?"

「煩腦無盡誓願斷」，你有沒有斷煩惱，是不是還有脾氣？

"Afflictions are endless, I vow to cut them all off." Have you cut off your afflictions? Do you still have a temper?

「法門無量誓願學」，我學了沒學？

"Dharma-doors are limitless, I vow to learn them all." Have you studied them?

「佛道無上誓願成」，當然現在是還沒有成，就要趕快修行，要成佛。

"The Buddha Way is unsurpassed, I vow to realize it." Of course we haven't attained the Way. We should hurry and cultivate to attain Buddhahood.

那麼，這一切法門不離自性，所有眾生都是我們自性裡的眾生，我們要發誓度他們成佛。我們所有的煩惱，自性裡邊的煩惱，我們發願一定要把它斷了。這個自性裡邊的法門，我們要學習，我們一定不要把光陰空過了。自性的佛道誓願成，我們成佛是成自己的佛，並不是外邊的佛。所以我們特別要注意，要記得，然後天天要向前精進，不要向後退。

Of all the Dharma-doors, none are apart from our own nature. All living beings are living beings within our own nature. We must vow to take them across to Buddhahood. As for all the afflictions in our own nature, we must vow to cut them off. We must study all the Dharma-doors of our own nature and not let the time pass by in vain. "The Buddha Way is unsurpassed, I vow to realize it." When we realize Buddhahood, we are realizing the Buddhahood of our own nature, not some Buddhahood from outside. We should pay attention to this and go forward every day, without retreating.

你們各位聽得懂我講的嗎？（大眾：懂。）會不會依教奉行啊？（大眾：會。）會不會不依教奉行啊？（大眾：不會不依教奉行。）那你們都不要忘記今天皈依時所發的願！Okay!

Do you all hear and understand? [Everyone: "Yes."] Will you practice according to the teaching? [Everyone: "Yes."] Will you practice not according to the teaching? [Everyone: "No."] Then do not forget the vows you have made in taking refuge today. Okay?
