第四屆法總僧伽大會於2006年五月二十九日在萬佛聖城「道源堂」舉行，會議於下午一點至四時舉行，現場與用電話會議打入者共計150人參加。會中通過法總僧眾董事選罷辦法修訂案，將來僧眾在選舉董事，有充裕時間以利提名、名單發佈及選舉的運作。同時僧團決定新增男女選舉秘書各一人，負責選務有關各項工作。下次會議訂於2006年十月九日下午一點舉行。

May 29, 2006, the fourth mid-year DRBA Sangha Meeting was conducted at Daoyuan Hall, the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. The total of those physically present and calling in on conference call was 150. Dharma Master Jin Yong chaired this meeting which passed the revised procedures to elect and remove sangha directors of the DRBA Board. Sangha members will have ample time for nominations, candidate lists, and elections. Also, it was decided to add an election secretary and an assistant secretary, who will be responsible for all election-related work. The next Sangha Meeting will be October 9, 2006 at 1 p.m.
