2005年上半年法總僧伽大會於六月二十日（週一）在萬佛聖城「道源堂」舉行，會議於下午一點開始，以中英雙語進行。會中僧眾主要就2006年特別法會及檢討評估「國際哲學倫理研究院」興建等事項聽取報告及討論，並決定明年會議日期。會議進行至六時十五分結束，下次會議定在十一月十一日舉行。

The first semi-annual DRBA Sangha Meeting for 2005 was held bilingually in Chinese and English on Monday June 20, at 1:00 p.m. at Daoyuan Hall in the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. There were two main agenda items: 1) Special Dharma events of 2006, 2) review of the International Institute of Philosophy and Ethics (IIP&E) project. After hearing extensive reports, the Sangha discussed the issues and also set the dates for next year’s meetings. The meeting concluded at 6:15 p.m. The next meeting will be held on November 11, 2005.
