本城育良小學蔣金鳳，培德中學葉恆君提名並獲得瑜珈鎮扶輪社社區服務獎。金鳳和恆君是由本地私立學校提名中選。金鳳每天在學校升旗典禮前幫忙學校打掃清潔，星期六在齋堂收拾盤碗，放學後自願照顧幼兒。恆君在小學部當助教及辦公室助理，在中午及休息時間協助老師們，放學後看顧學生做作業，教五、六年級體育。這兩位同學於在五月十五日星期二扶輪社於瑜珈鎮ElksLodge聚會時受獎。恭喜她們為社區服務精神的楷模。

This year Phoenix Jiang was nominated by Instilling Goodness Elementary School and Katrina Yeh by Developing Virtue Secondary School to receive the Community Service Award given by the Ukiah Rotary Club. Both Phoenix and Katrina were chosen from local private schools to receive the award. Phoenix helps to sweep and clean the school in the morning before flag ceremony, collects dishes in the dining hall on Saturdays, and volunteers as a babysitter after school. Katrina works in the elementary school as a teacher's aide and office aide. She helps teachers in the classroom, at lunch and recess, and helps students with homework in the after school program. She also teaches P.E. to the 5th-6th graders. These two students received their awards on Tuesday, May 15, at the Rotary Club meeting at Elks Lodge in Ukiah. Congratulations! These students exemplify the spirit of community service.
