到了金山寺，你就不管金山寺管理人是沙彌是在家人，你就是比丘比丘尼，到那地方都要聽招呼，要循規蹈矩，不能隨便就出街也不告假，願意買什麼就買什麼，這是不可以的。誰有這樣的行為，那你自己就要想法子離開萬佛城，萬佛城不收這樣的佛教的敗類，不收這樣在佛教裡不守規矩的人。
修道的人沒有一個不守規矩的。你不修道就到這地方混光陰，這是不能容留，一定要遷單的。你覺得自己還不錯呢，到處隨隨便便！你無論出家多少年，你到什麼地方，入鄉隨俗要守那個道場的規矩；不守規矩，哪一個也不可以的。 |

When you come to Gold Mountain Monastery, you ought to follow the instructions of the manager. Whether the manager is a Shramanera or a lay person, you should follow the rules even if you are a Bhikshu or a Bhikshuni. You should not casually go shopping without informing anyone and then buy whatever you want. That is unacceptable. If any of you behave that way, then you must leave the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. We do not accept such unruly scoundrels.
No cultivator neglects to follow regulations. If you go to a place to hang out and pass the time, you will not be permitted to stay. You will be asked to leave. You think you are quite special, doing as you please wherever you go! No matter how long you have left the home life, you should "do as the Romans do in Rome"--follow the rules of whichever Way-place you are in. No one may violate the regulations. |
