The mission of Instilling Goodness and Developing Virtue Schools
is to provide a unique East/West education that emphasizes
ethics, character development, excellence in scholarship,
social responsibility and service, leadership, and
development of individual potential.
The schools are proud to be based on the ideals of the
Buddha's teachings, and courses in Buddhist Studies are a
requisite for all students. However, students of all faiths
are welcome to attend the schools.
At Instilling Goodness and Developing Virtue Schools,
students benefit from a blend of Eastern and Western values
and practices that encourages the development of:

In a unique monastic
environment on the campus of a Buddhist University at the
