親愛的學生們：
跟你們一塊兒工作，一塊兒學習，讓我獲益良多。你們現在或者還不知道，但是我相信將來你們都會走入世界，成為東西文化相互瞭解的橋樑，這對世界和平有著莫大的幫助。
當你離開本校踏入社會時，你會發覺自己已掌握了生活中做人處事的道理。這些道理，加上你在校時所習得的知識，能讓你在面對世界種種相互衝突，讓人迷惑不清的價值觀念時，知所抉擇。切莫忘記你的根本，就是撫養教育你的父母和師長；要記得盡你最大的努力把人做好，並且幫助世人，以為回報他們對你的愛護。
作為育良小學及培德中學的學生，你在這個世界上有著重要的任務。不論你從事何種生涯，你要做模範，帶領他人往好的路上走。
不要低估自己，以道德為基礎，你為人類，為世界謀求幸福的潛力是無限的。 |

Dear Students:
It has been so rewarding to work with and learn from all of you. None of you may realize this now, but I believe that in the future you will all go out into the world and become bridges of understanding between East and West, which are crucial for world peace.
When you leave this school and step into the world, you will find that you are equipped with principles to live by. These principles and your education here will help you stand firm when faced with confusing and conflicting values in the world. Always remember your roots-your parents and your teachers who have raised and educated you. Remember to repay their kindness by becoming the best person you can be, and by helping those around you.
Having been a student of IG/DVS, you have an important role in the world. Regardless of what life and career path you take, you shall be natural role models, influencing others to strive towards goodness and virtue.
Never underestimate yourself. With a firm grounding in virtue, there is no limit to what you can accomplish for the peace and well-being of humanity and the world.
