Now that I’ve awakened from my dream,
I ought to cherish my time,
Diligently cultivating precepts, concentration, and wisdom,
Perfecting them in this lifetime.
As my offenses are wiped away,
Totally purified, I’ll be off to the Western Land—
How carefree!
How could I just come to the world in vain,
Going through life in a hectic flurry?
