十幾年前當她從越南搬到西雅圖時，想找一個好道場，但都沒有找到。有一天看到報紙刊登『宣化上人將來西雅圖弘法』的消息，她就去參加。其實早在越南時，就已經與上人結過法緣，但已不記得了，直至參加法會及見到上人並閱讀上人所開示一些書籍，才回想起這已是她第二次見到上人了。
有一次去法興寺拜佛時，朋友果足告訴她有一新道場剛成立，約她去幫忙；從此，就與金峰寺結緣至今。
金峰寺一開始因為人手不夠，無法提供午齋，就有居士發起，由來參加法會的同參在個自家裏煮好一些飯菜，帶來佛堂供佛及供眾。果樓所做的糕點一直都是令人回味無窮；除了點心外，她另一個手藝是烹紉，看到金峰寺的佛桌上所擺一些盤墊，小巧可愛，是放供果或臘燭等，都不致損傷桌面，可見她巧手的細膩，這是她莊嚴道場而自莊嚴。
她跟師父從受三皈五戒後，這麼多年，總不懈怠來聽聞佛法，她為人親切、不多話、做事細心這正是道場不可或缺的一位護法。 |

More than a decade ago when she came from Vietnam to Seattle, Guo Lo went searching for a good Way-place, but couldn't find one. Then one day she saw a news headline ”Venerable Master Hsuan Hua is Coming to Seattle to Speak Dharma.” She attended the event. Actually, while she was in Vietnam she tied up Dharma conditions with the Venerable Master, but she had already forgotten. Once she got to the Dharma Assembly, saw the Master and looked through some of his instructional materials, she realized that this was the second time she has met the Master.
One time when she went to a monastery to worship, her friend Guo-Zu told her that a new Way-place,Gold Summit Monastery, had just been established and set a date with her to go help out. From that time on to this very day, her Dharma affinities have been with Gold Summit Monastery.
When Gold Summit Monastery was first established,there were not enough residents to manage the preparation of the meals and so the laypeople decided each to prepare a dish at home and bring it with them when they came to the Dharma assembly to offer to the Buddhas and then the assembly. Guo-Lo's contributions of pastries are memorable.Besides her bakery goods,Guo-Lo is also a seamstress.When you see the lovely little mats placed beneath the bowls of fruit or the candles to protect the offering tables at Gold Summit Monastery,you are looking at Guo-Lo's handiwork.By adorning the Way-place in this way,she herself also emanates beauty.
Throughout all these years,after Guo-Lo took refuge and receive the five precepts from the Venerable Master, she has never been lax in coming to listen to the Buddhadharma. She is a warm-hearted person who speaks little and pays attention to details when doing things. She is a Dharma-protector that this Way-place could not do without!
