As I looked at the incessant rainfall, my heart rippled with melancholy. I really have no idea what serious consequences the rainstorm will bring.
"We are overwhelmed with unsatisfactory deeds throughout our lives." In the journey of life, we will inveitably encounter some storms. But if we blame God and others, it is of no benefit at all. Never give up or complain about that. You know the truth that it's better to light up a fire to bring forth brightness than to curse the darkness. At that time we should turn the power of resistance into the power of assistance, not harm our faith or confidence.
It is said,"The most violent tides cannot drown a person with great faith; the most perilous circumstance cannot perplex a person with great aspirations; the toughest tasks cannot keep down a person with great capability; the most fierce enemies cannot beat a person with great determination." All these sayings admonish us not to give up in frustration.
Only through experiencing dangerous circumstances in the world can we bring forth our resolution and firmness. If we run into frustration and failure, we should rejoice, not despair; instead of wishing for good luck in the future, we should figure out how to revive the land after the storms so as to reduce the loss from damages to a minimum.
Lao-tzu once said, "Fluttering winds and rains won't last all day long." Friends, violent storms will surely be over. "The darkest hour is always just before the dawn."
