Teachers Should Always Keep Themselves Updated

When ordinary teachers teach, they usually treat children as if they were some sort of container just waiting to be filled with all kinds of knowledge and experience. They ignore the fact that children need to develop the potential of their own lives.

In fact, teachers ought to prepare a “suitable” environment which fits the children’s mental needs so that their learning potential can be fully developed. Teachers should know how to prepare a vital and lively environment. A teacher is the “active link” between children and the surrounding environment. A teacher’s job is to establish contacts between the surrounding environment and the children’s minds. Teachers are a major element in the children’s learning environment.

The School Should Maintain Contact with the Family

Every child is a member of a family, not an isolated individual. Most of the influence on a child’s life comes from his experiences outside the classroom. Therefore, it is clear that if the school does not maintain close contact and cooperate with the student’s parents, then even if a student stays at school all day long, there will be no effective way to influence him to change. People are the “products” of their society. In the educational process, their social environment is the family. In addition to keeping as close contact as possible with the student’s parents and family, the more important job of the school is to spread the goal of education to the whole society.
