(Los Angeles) On April 11, Ven. Master Hua began lecturing on the Sutra of the Chan Master Jr Gung Speaking of Cause and Effect at Long Beach Sagely Monastery in Los Angeles. The lectures are three to five o'clock on Sundays. In this Sutra, Chan Master Jr Gung and Emperor Wu of the Lyang Dynasty engage in a dialogue, in which complex nature of cause and effect is explained to help people desist from the pursuit of fame and profit. Interested people should not miss the chance to attend this supreme Dharma Assembly.

(Announcement) On the afternoon of April 9, three large tourbuses brought one hundred and two Taoist disciples from Taiwan to visit the Sagely City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. They were from the Jyan-syou Temple of the Boundless Heaven Taoists from Lung-jing in Taichung, and they had brought an image of their deity Chen Jing-Gu, Holy Mother of Heaven. Their leader said last spring, their Abbot received divine instruction from the Holy Mother of Heaven that the Sagely City is one of the places they must visit. They toured the Sagely City at their leisure and departed at 3:00 p.m.
