【本刊訊】法界佛教總會計畫創辦一所研究院，是專為只有夜間及週日才有時間繼續求學的進修者設立。開設的課程將以佛學和中文學兩者為主，白天則準備設立幼兒班，另附設餐廳，推廣素食。這所研究院未來將定名為「至聖」。
五月一日下午兩點，第一次至聖研究院籌備會，於柏林根市國際譯經學院召開，由研究院的發起人－法界大學校尊楊富森教授主持，共有法界大學董事及關心教育者三十餘人參加。
宣公上人亦列席指導，上人除再次申明教育的重要性，更鼓勵與會者齊心努力，改革世界的教育，一定要把教育辦好它。

(Announcement) The Dharma Realm Buddhist Association (DRBA) plans to establish a graduate school especially for students who would like to continue their studies but only have time in the evenings and on the weekends. The curriculum will concentrate mainly on Buddhism and Chinese. During day, children's classes and a vegetarian restaurant are also planned. This institution will be called the Jhirr Sheng Graduate School.
On May 1 at 2 p.m., the Jhirr Sheng Graduate School Preparation Committee held its first meeting at the International Translation Institute in Burlingame. The initiator of the project, Professor Richard Yang, Honored Chancellor of the Dharma Realm Buddhist University (DRBU), chaired the meeting of over thirty people, including the DRBU Board of Trustees and others devoted to education.
Venerable Master Hsuan Hua, who was also present to offer guidance, once again emphasized the importance of education, and exhorted those present to collect their strength and work hard to reform the world's education. It is essential to do a good job in education.
