萬佛聖城附設的中小學－育良小學、培德中學，一九九三年暑期班課程，將自七月六日至七月三十一日，一連進行四週。並自八月一日起，舉行一週觀音七活動，歡迎同學們及早報名參加。
今年暑期班的主題是「與自然和諧」，由法界大學校尊楊富森教授擬訂。楊校尊特別指出，參加暑期班的同學，將學習如何與內在的自然、及外在的自然、取得和諧。四個星期的課程內容涵括英文、中文、自然科學、社會科學、佛教故事、佛理淺介、倫理道德、靜坐等，並特為高中學生設立ＳＡＴ預備課程。
有鑒於目前許多青少年道德觀念薄弱，欠缺正當之人生目標，動輒以運動明星、影視歌星，為崇拜對象。故此次暑期班將為同學們介紹偉人典範、高僧大德之菩薩道行止，令同學們心生景仰，找到真正值得效法的偶像。
中英文俱佳的恆持法師，將以生動淺顯的言詞，介紹佛教因果道理。著名的生物學老師傑瑞庫克先生，則將帶領學生走向大自然，實地認識野生動植物。今年暑期班的目標，在傳授知識的同時，也引導學生學習做個好人、結交善友、並領略自然之美。今年暑期班的活動分成三個階段，第一階段為期兩週，自七月六日至十八日；第二階段自七月十九日至三十一日；第三階段為觀音七，自八月一日至七日，有興趣的同學請聯絡萬佛聖城。

The 1993 Summer Program of Instilling Goodness Elementary School and Developing Virtue High School at the Sagely City of Ten Thousand Buddhas will be four weeks long, from July 6 to 31. Starting August 1, there will also be a one-week Gwan Yin Recitation Session. Interested students should register as soon as possible.
Dr. Richard Yang, the Honored Chancellor of Dharma Realm Buddhist University, has set this summer's theme as "In Harmony With Nature." He emphasized that participants will learn how to be in harmony with both the inner and external nature. The four-week Summer Program includes courses in English, Chinese, Natural Science, Social Science, Buddhist Stories, Introduction to Buddhism, Ethics, Meditation, and an SAT Prep Class designed especially for high school students.
Owing to weak ethical standards, many young people today lack proper life goals, and usually look to famous athletes, movie celebrities, and rock stars as their idols. Focusing on this problem, this Summer Program will introduce the exemplary lives of great Sages and the Bodhisattva conduct of virtuous cultivators, presenting students with models really worth admiring.
Dharma Master Heng Chih, who has a good mastery of both English and Chinese, will give a lively and simple introduction to the Buddhist idea of cause and effect. The esteemed biology teacher Mr. Jerry Cook will lead students to explore Nature and become acquainted with the wild animals and plants. The aim of this Summer Program is not only to impart knowledge, but also to influence students to learn to be good people, make good friends, and observe the beauty of Nature. The program has three sessions: the first session will be two weeks, from July 6 to 18; the second session will be from July 19 to 31; the third session will be the Gwan Yin Session, from August 1 to 7.
