【本刊訊】應美國喬治亞州亞特蘭大城佛學社邀請，萬佛聖城恆貢、恆學、恆展、恆錦、恆音、恆哲等法師，一行六位於十月二日飛抵亞特蘭大訪問四天。
首二日，於佛學社址，法師們率眾拜大悲懺、靜坐、午供、聚餐、討論，社友們顯示熱切興趣，欲學習如法行儀。晚課共修後，法師們於華人之光活動中心，就「佛法與修行」、「正知與正見」分別講說。
後二日訪問團於歐革索及艾莫力二所大學，分別對教職員演說「佛教與教育」。法師們強調，當前迫切需要的是，以倫理道德教育來挽救瀕臨破產的西方教育。萬佛聖城能使世界和平的六大宗旨－不爭、不貪、不求、不自私、不自利、不妄語，也於討論中反覆闡揚。與會人數雖然並非踴躍，但反應異常熱烈。問題包括素食、持戒、懺悔、修行、出家的意義，亦有關於居住聖城的細節問題等多項。

Announcement: At the invitation of the Atlanta Buddhist Association, a delegation consisting of Dharma Masters Heng Gung, Heng Sywe, Heng Jan, Heng Jin, Heng Yin and Heng Je flew to Atlanta, Georgia on October 2nd.
On October 3-4, the Atlanta Buddhist Association arranged for the Dharma Masters to lead a Great Compassion Repentance, a meditation session, the noon meal offering and a discussion. Participants showed great interest in learning how to cultivate and comport themselves in accord with the Dharma. Dharma talks given at the Chinese Activity Center after the evening chanting focused on Buddhism and Cultivation and Proper Knowledge and Proper Views.
On October 5th, the Dharma delegation spoke to students at Oglethorpe University, and lectured to a small group of students and faculty at Emory University. The main topic of the lectures was Buddhism and Education, highlighting the need for teaching ethics and virtue in order to save Western education from brink of bankruptcy. The Six Great Principles of the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas (no fighting, no greed, no seeking, no selfishness, no self-benefit, no telling lies) were also stressed as the way to bring about world peace.
Although the audiences were small, they showed great enthusiasm and asked questions on vegetarianism; holding precepts, repentance, the life of cultivation, the meaning of leaving home, and much more. Several expressed interest in coming to visit the Sagely City, and also requested future visits of Dharma delegations from the Sagely City.
