SUMMER CAMP AT THE CITY OF TEN THOUSAND BUDDHAS
Moving from the city to the woods and country for the summer, Gold Mountain Instilling Virtue Elementary School of San Francisco, California, 1s continuing its program of bilingual education in both English and Mandarin Chinese at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas in the beautiful Ukiah Valley of Mendocino County, California. The camp program for children includes as well meditation, T'ai Ch'i or Yoga, study of the Avatamsaka Sutra, sports, organic gardening and many special projects. It 1s an excellent opportunity for children to live, work, and study in a Buddhist environment in which the values of filiality, responsibility, integrity and liberation from greed, hatred and stupidity naturally become part of their life.
