上人探望三步一拜中的比丘恒实及恒朝。也就在这个时期，上人立下了“不争、不贪、不求、不自私、不自利”的五大宗旨。以后在加拿大温哥华，上人又加上一条“不打妄语”，成为现在法界佛教总会的六大宗旨。

The Master with Bhikshus Heng Sure and Heng Chau during their Three-Steps-One-Bow Pilgrimage.
It was during this period that the Venerable Master established five of the Six Guiding Principles: no fighting, no greed, no seeking, no selfishness, and no pursuit of personal advantage. Later, in Vancouver, the Master added the sixth: no lying. Together these became the Six Guiding Principles of the Dharma Realm Buddhist Association.
