上人与天主教的于斌枢机

The Master with Paul Cardinal Yubin

当于枢机带着他的宗教访问团来到圣城时，上人对他说：“你做天主教里的佛教徒，我做佛教里的天主教徒。”于枢机同意了。

When the Cardinal led a religious delegation to the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas in l977, the Master advised him, “You be a Buddhist among the Catholics, and I will be a Catholic among the Buddhists.” The Cardinal agreed.
