恒持法師應邀於二○○四年十一月廿七、廿八兩日在新加坡佛經流通中心講授《楞嚴經》卷四，吉隆坡的恒揚師、近義師與香港佛教講堂的恒禪師隨行前來。

Upon request, Dharma Master Heng Chih lectured on the Shurangama Sutra (Volume 4) at Buddhist Books Distribution Centre for two days on November 27 & 28, 2004. She was accompanied by Dharma Masters Heng Yang and Jin Yi from Kuala Lumpur, as well as Dharma Master Heng Chan from the Hong Kong Buddhist Lecture Hall.

四場講座吸引了百餘位虔誠善信，其中有二十多位在吉隆坡和檳城聽完法師的講演跟到新加坡來的。

The four-lecture session attracted over a hundred sincere people. Among the audience were some twenty laypeople who had attended Dharma Master Chih's lectures in Kuala Lumpur and Penang before coming to Singapore.

在法師生動活潑的解說下，聽眾都覺得《楞嚴經》有味道也不難懂，真是法喜充滿。

Although the Shurangama Sutra is an extremely profound sutra, Dharma Master Chih’s lively and humorous style of lecturing made it very interesting and easy for everyone to understand. The Dharma bliss of the audience was evident after each lecture.
