Song Yun returned to his country, Northern Wei,
and relayed this matter, "A couple of days ago when I was traveling
along the Qin Range near Mount Zhongnan, I met Patriarch Bodhidharma.
He was carrying a shoe in his hand. I asked where he was heading, and
he said he was going back to India. He told me the day I met him that
our Emperor had died. Now I have come back and found that it did
happen on that very day. How did he know? Patriarch Bodhidharma's
words are really efficacious."
