Proclaiming the Mahayana, he crosses over all.
Opening the door of the Flower Adornment and
revealing the secrets of the Shurangama, he teaches all.
Transmitting the sacred hands of Gwan Yin, he rescues all.
Day and night he's always busy teaching and transforming living beings.
Observing the sounds of the world he listens to
the cries of suffering and those in need of help.
Out of great kindness and compassion he sails the prajna boat,
taking living beings aboard and crossing them over to the other shore.
Forgetting his own self, he benefits living beings in whichever way he can.
Even when his body is ill and frail, he never gives up.
As long as he has a breath of air he will speak the Dharma.
As long as he has a bit of energy he will lend a hand to help those who need it.
Everything that he does is not for himself but for others.
Sparing neither blood nor sweat he never stops to rest.
