I have never had the opportunity to either talk with the Venerable Master or directly serve him. However, I know a lot about him through his biography. Also whenever I heard anyone start talking about their affinity with the Venerable Master, I would pay full attention, afraid to miss any part of the story.
Whenever I started to read "The Biography of the Venerable Master Hua," I was unable to stop and put the book down. Because, within myself, I strongly feel the greatness of the Venerable Master, and the hardship that he has undergone. Sometimes, I felt that the Venerable Master is not just a great Bodhisattva, as people have always thought, but something more like the transformation body of a Buddha. The Venerable Master's conduct and vows are just unbelievably great. There isn't any scripture that can describe them.
