In June 1994, in order to fulfill the wishes of living beings, the Venerable Master endured a lot of suffering to transmit the Forty-Two Hands and Eyes at both Long Beach Monastery and Gold Wheel Monastery in Los Angeles.
One morning, despite being sick with a high temperature, the Venerable Master came to Long Beach Monastery to transmit the Forty-Two Hands and Eyes.
After the transmission ceremony, when the Venerable Master was leaving, I saw that his back was covered with sweat, but he did not even say a word about it.
I kept on thinking about this scene. Isn't this an example of the Venerable Master's verse:
"Spare neither blood nor sweat, And never pause to rest."
