值此「世界和平聚會」，兩位比丘，恒具及恒由，剛好完成第一次的三步一拜，抵達西雅圖。另兩位參與此會的比丘，恒觀及恒空，正在實行七十二天的絕食。

The Gathering coincided with the arrival in the Seattle area of Bhikshus Heng Ju and Heng Yo, the two monks who executed the first Three-Steps-One-Bow pilgrimage. Two other monks, Bhikshus Heng Kuan and Heng Kung, joined the Gathering in the midst of their seventy-two-day fasts.
